Charmian has been involved in social

and marketing research for over 25 years.  

In addition to her considerable experience with Social and Government research, Charmian’s experience and expertise spans a wide variety of sectors, including Financial Services, Automotive, Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Telecommunications and Business-to-Business.  

Charmian has tackled a range of marketing and business problems, including: communications and (new) product / service delivery, from concept development through to the tracking of awareness and attitudinal and behavioral change.  

Charmian was Chairperson of the Victorian Committee of the Australian Market & Social Research Society (AMSRS) for several years and a Director of the National Council.

Prior to leaving the UK, Charmian worked for several leading market research agencies including Taylor Nelson Sofres and the HPI Research Group.  After working in Fiji, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Charmian moved to Australia with A.C. Nielsen where she worked with several of Australia’s leading social and marketing research agencies before becoming a partner at market access
